G’day everyone. I’m pleased to announce a MyMIDI Player subversion release that I’ve been working on for a while.
The only change in this subversion is that almost all MIDI files in the inbuilt library now carry the key signature of the arrangement. For anyone who plays along with MyMIDI Player, this will save you a bit of time working out what key the music is playing in, so you can transpose to match the key of your sheet music.
If you have no interest in knowing the key signature then there is no need for you to download this subversion.
The key signature is displayed immediately above the transpose slider, to the right of the playlist. If you transpose, it will show the name of the adjusted key signature.
If you find any errors, please let me know. I have had to analyse each MIDI file to determine the key, and almost certainly I will have made a few mistakes along the way.
